At CPM we are extremely excited to be heading to the Checkout Awards 2016, which will be held today at 12.30 pm at the Mansion House.

CPM, in partnership with GSK, has been shortlisted in the category of “Best Sales Team / Field Sales Support”. Now we are just waiting for the big ceremony, with our fingers crossed and feeling extremely proud of our hard-working team.

Strong retail sales growth in first eight months of the year

Irish retail sales were down 4.7% in the month in August but were 5.2% higher in the year in volume terms as against a revised annual increase of 7.8% (+6.3%) in July. This is according to the latest headline official retail sales data from the CSO, released this morning.

Irish Retail Sales Fall In August

Ireland’s retail sales declined in August after rebounding in July, the Central Statistics Office reported Wednesday. Retail sales volume dropped 4.7 percent month-on-month, reversing a double-digit 13.8 percent growth seen in July.

The winners will be revealed on September 30th, in The Round Room, at the Mansion House, Dublin. Now in its seventh year, the awards recognise excellence in sales and marketing in the Irish grocery retail sector.

CPM signed the Diversity Charter Ireland

Last Thursday, 9th September 2016, marks a very special day for CPM as we have signed the Diversity Charter Ireland. Around 3 p.m. our Commercial Director, Ciara Kellett, had the pleasure of signing the Charter in eir Headquarters at Heuston South Quarter.

The Diversity Charter Ireland was launched in October 2012 by eleven organisations, representing the broader business community and including IBEC, the group that represents Irish business. The signing of this charter is a voluntary commitment by these organisations to effective diversity management, preventing discrimination and promoting equality with respect to all their stakeholders and the environment in which they operate. In signing this charter, organisations in Ireland join their counterparts in twelve other European countries in publically stating their commitment to diversity.
